These four clans have a different belief system than the original four clans. Instead of Starclan, they believe in Moonclan and The Legends.

The legends are a 12 siblings who saved the clan long ago and created the different kinds of moons. Their mother was named Bluelight and was born to a mother of Stormclan and a father of Breezeclan. The first litter of 6 kits (Wolfkit, Snowkit, Wormkit, Harekit, Flowerkit, and Rosekit) was born to another half-clanner from another clan named Blackclaw whose father was from Nightclan and mother from Northclan.

These kits were ridiculed for being all of the clans in one. Some of the siblings could take it while others couldn't. When they were about 8 moons old, Wolfpaw, Snowpaw, and Flowerpaw all left Stormclan to join thair father in Nightclan while the other three stayed.

A few moons later, Bluelight gave birth to another litter of six but this time their father was of Stormclan. His name was Bloodfang, who was known for being merciless in battle and cold-hearted. Bluelight thought that he could change him but she was wrong. One night, after leaving camp arguing, she drowned mysteriously in the river.

These new six kits were named Thunderkit, Troutkit, Barleykit, Grasskit, Beaverkit, and Coldkit. These kits grew up more loved yet still some took the side of their father (Troutkit, Grasskit, and Beaverkit) and soon started to act like him.

These young warriors saved the four clans from a great battle that would surely end the clans and founded Moonclan. In the end, the 12 siblings fought each other at Star Falls, all dying there. It is said that this is how the moons were created.

Wolfclaw is the first kit born of the 12 and is the eldest. He is wiser than his siblings and is said to bring strength to the clan cats to make it through this year. He didn't get along very well with his siblings but that didn't mean he didn't care for them. In the end, he became the Warrior of the Wolf Moon.

Snowpool was the most intelligent of the siblings. She was ambitious and never wanted to waste her time with silly things such as finding a mate or having kits. She dreamed of being the next leader but of course this never happened. She is said to bring snow to rain down on the clans and test their strength and determination to survive it. She is also said to bring ambition to cats born during the Snow Moon.

Wormfang is not the most known or welcomed Moon of all. He was always the clumsiest and wasn't very good at hunting or fighting. He was kind and sweet but didn't get very far in his life. His siblings were embarrassed of him and wouldn't spend very much time with him. He is said to bring clumsiness to cats born under this moon and represents the lonely times in life where it seems like no one is there for you.

Harestep is known for being filled with hope and encouragement. She was always the most enthusiastic of all her siblings and would bring light in some of the darkest times. She was a cheerful she-cat who liked to help others. She is said to bring hope to the clans and encourage them in the darker times.

A small ginger she-cat with amber eyes.

Flowerpetal was always the most outgoing and adventurous of the siblings. She liked to go and find something new each day. She was a wild she-cat who never settled for something small and full. It is said that she bring adventure to the clans and the cats born under the Flower Moon.

Rosefur is known for being motherly and patient. She is said to be the one who cares for the kits who die before they are even apprenticed. She cares for the clans and watches over them. She is said to bring patience to cats born under the Rose Moon and for she-cats born under this moon, great fertility and a caring and motherly nature. She was always taking care of her siblings and tried to stay out of their rivalries.

Thunderheart was the bravest and most loyal of the siblings. He was very vain and thought he was the best at everything. His loyalty though would never waver and he was a cat you could trust. It is said that he give he cats who are born under the Thunder Moon bravery, loyalty, and mostly vanity.

Troutsplash is known for being the best swimmer and loved the water. He was a neutral tom who was loyal and kind to everyone. He tried to be everyone's friend but of course some weren't. He is said to give the cats born under the Trout Moon the gift of friendliness. He is also said to cause Floods when he is angry and to bring more fish when he is happy.

Barleyseed is a quiet and calm tom. He didn't do very much fighting but was one of the best hunters of the four clans. Some envied him while others gave thanks to him for his plentiful hunts. He is said to create the best hunters of the kits born under the Barley Moon. He is said to bring plenty prey as the Cold Moon approaches.

Grasspelt was like the twin of Barleyseed. They were very close near the end and were both great a hunting though his brother was better. He envied his brother in the beginning and had hated him until the end. He is said to bring envy and jealousy to the clan cats born under the Grass Moon and is said to bring the prey during this moon and then slowly take it away from them.

Beavertail is known for being the most prepared and quick-witted of the siblings. He was very helpful during his life and would always volunteer for the patrols. It is said that he give the cats born under the Beaver Moon helpfulness and quick-wit.

A pale grey she-cat with icy blue eyes.

Coldgaze was actually one of the sweetest she-cats in the beginning. She was kind to all but over time, her heart froze over and she became cold to everyone. She began to hate her siblings and the clans. She wanted to destroy them so it is said that she brings the snow, ice, and blizzard to destroy the clans but her siblings fight her on it and she eventually loses. It is also said that cats born under the Cold Moon have a chance of being given the gift of being Sweet and loved by all or Cold-hearted and hatred.
